Practical notes on media metadata, provenance, platform upload behavior, and account recovery.

## Editorial rule

Every strong platform claim should be one of these:

1. **Primary-source fact** — backed by current official documentation or a standards body.
2. **Direct observation** — reproducible from a file or controlled platform test.
3. **Hypothesis** — clearly labeled as such.

We do not present plausible stories about private ranking systems, support queues, telemetry databases, or hidden moderation thresholds as facts.

## Why the tone changed

Earlier versions of some guides tried to make black-box platforms feel simple by filling in missing backend details. That produced confident explanations but also made unsupported assumptions sound like established facts.

The current field notes are narrower on purpose. A reproducible five-minute test is more useful than a polished paragraph about a private system we cannot inspect.

## Product boundary

CreatorPrivacyKit is a local-first browser tool. It can inspect and change supported files before upload. It cannot guarantee how a private platform will classify, rank, label, moderate, or retain information after upload.
