These pages publish captured runs of the live tools in a real browser. The counts are the cases published on each report. They are not a score for every browser. Reading metadata fields back in the browser checks those fields.

Metadata removal here means what the live pages did to the fixtures in this capture. Image files go through the homepage cleaner. PDFs go through the PDF Toolkit’s metadata mode. Video has no separate cleaner page, so the video case uses a live video tool that writes a new file.
Video compression demuxes, decodes, and encodes in this tab with WebCodecs. A 2026-10-26 high-bitrate color-bars clip went from 2976898 bytes to 149460 bytes. That export is smaller.
The tool page says local, no upload, no AI. The code matches that wording. WebCodecs decodes frames, a WebAssembly module resamples them, and WebCodecs encodes the result. Lanczos3, bicubic, and bilinear are the filters. Edge contrast is a small 3×3 Laplacian: natural, subtle, or crisp. The filter does not add faces, letters, or texture that were not in the frame.
