How to test your own file
- Plant GPS and camera fields in a JPEG.
- Send via the exact LINE path you care about (chat image vs Keep vs file).
- Download from the receiving side.
- Compare hash and GPS tags.
- Record iOS and Android separately; LINE versions matter.
Methodology
Every published result has to follow the same protocol: a known source file, a recorded hash, a specific upload path, and a downloaded copy. Folklore does not count.
Privacy implications
If a photo could identify a home, school, or workplace, strip location on the file before it enters LINE. Platform folklore is not a control.
